Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As an active member of the LGBTQ+ community myself I don’t think there are enough websites like this dedicated to LGBTQ+ marriages, partnerships & civil unions so it’s been through social media that I have previously promoted my business.

Allyship

Well first up is joining this website, I really don’t think there are enough avenues in expertise in certain fields that are solely aimed at the LGBTQ+ community. My website is under construction at the moment and there will be areas of diverse representation on it. I try to ensure my social media accounts are inclusive.

I have a dedicated charity through my business, The Terrance Higgins Trust that I donate to a few times a year through various projects.

Personally I try to attend all LGBTQ+ protests, rally’s and fund raisers that I can as it’s so important to keep up the fight for equality and against injustice.

I now find myself correcting people in conversation that don’t use correct pronouns, trying to educate them into thinking before they speak about someone or describing someone.
