What do you offer?

For ceremonies bursting with love and fun - kick off your celebrations on a high with a ceremony that screams YOU!

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I've been an ally in the community all my life. As a young child, my Mum took me to pride parades and protests in the early 80s. The closest and greatest role models in my life are a part of the community. When my ex-husband came out, I openly championed and supported him and his now-husband. It's not a question of why I want to work with the LGBTQ+ community - I always have and always will because this community is my family.

Allyship

I've been working on this over time. Although I do a lot of ceremonies for queer couples and families, most ask for privacy and don't want details and photos of their celebrations shared publicly. However, I always share those that I can. Also with styled shoots, if the 'couple' are seen to be queer then i insist on working with a real queer couple of models!

I've also been reviewing language on my website and socials which was recently audited by a couple of friends who work in this area. I'm a trainer with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy where I support and train new celebrants. I'm always keen to encourage them to use inclusive language in their ceremonies and model this for them.

I have also turned down work from others who don't ally with my commitment to his community.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
