LGBTQ+ Owned Wedding Supplier
Woman owned wedding supplier
5+ years experience as a wedding supplier
What do you offer?

We are a same-sex couple, enjoying the process of planning our own wedding, and eager to do the same for others interested in having a non-traditional/quirky wedding of their own. We know it can feel overwhelming at first, so we will provide the structure and organisation that will allow you to truly enjoy the process of planning your special day, with a little added zest to make sure it's day of your dreams!

Why do you want yo work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Starting with planning our own same-sex wedding, we found it a little tricky and daunting at first, to try and find really open minded wedding suppliers that were up for stepping away from a 'traditional wedding'. We've learnt an enormous amount about planning a non-traditional wedding and would love to pass on all of our knowledge and experience to other nearly-weds that are feeling overwhelmed with the prospect of creating a magical day that really reflects them as lovers. LGBTQ+ marriage has only been legal for the last 10 years in the UK and everyone deserves to organise that perfect wedding, especially our community!

As a standard we highlight our own pronouns in all situations, both written down and verbally, and make sure to respect the use of the pronouns of others. We make a very conscious effort not to produce any resources with gendered language or assumptions, so that they are easily customisable.

We are both members of our work organisation's LGBTQ+ organisations, with Katie having delivered a number of informative sessions for her team on LGBTQ+ and Women's Health Issues, as well as sessions on intersectionality and why it is important when we create national payment policy (she works in NHS Finance). Morgan has helped facilitate several Pride events including featuring in this year's PWC Pride post on social media talking about her experiences of being queer in the workplace and what the anniversary of same-sex marriage means to her.

Katie has a particular interest in the Albert Kennedy Trust, and has previously donated to the cause, while currently donating to Centre Point for homeless Youth. Together we have attended a number of pride events and play an active role in a a local queer community group in East London.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
