What do you offer?

At Your Side Weddings offers modern wedding planning and on-the-day coordination for lovers that want calm, expert support and a day that feels true to them. From logistics and timelines to steady guidance throughout, I’m there to make everything feel seamless, personal and stress-free.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Because everyone deserves to feel completely comfortable, celebrated and respected while planning their wedding. Sadly, many LGBTQ+ couples still experience awkward assumptions, outdated language or spaces that simply weren’t built with them in mind.

As a queer woman who experienced many uncomfortable moments planning my own wedding, At Your Side Weddings was created to be a safe, joyful and genuinely inclusive space where couples can show up exactly as they are. No correcting people, no shrinking themselves, no trying to fit a mould. Just expert support, warmth, and a wedding that feels like them.

Allyship

For me, allyship is something you have to practise consistently, not something you simply claim. In my business, I use inclusive language, never assume gender roles or relationship dynamics, and create opportunities for to-be-weds to share names and pronouns comfortably from the start. I’m intentional about the suppliers, businesses and spaces I support, choosing to work with people whose values align with both inclusivity and respect. In everyday life, I continue to educate myself, listen to LGBTQ+ voices and support queer-led businesses and communities where I can.

At Your Side Weddings has been built with inclusion in mind from day one. My website, enquiry forms and communication use gender-neutral language such as lovers, partner(s) and to-be-weds rather than bride and groom, and I always follow how each person identifies and wishes to be addressed. As a new business, I’m being intentional about the imagery, collaborations and community spaces I invest in so that LGBTQ+ couples can see themselves represented as the brand grows. Joining directories such as Rebel Love is part of that commitment. Going forward, I’ll continue reviewing language, representation, supplier relationships and client experience to make sure inclusion is not performative, but genuinely felt at every stage.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
