What do you offer?

We are a wedding venue who value quality over quantity, and ensure every wedding weekend is bespoke and tailored to each couple's needs.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

We believe that everyone should have access to an inclusive and welcoming venue for their wedding. Since our first LGBTQ wedding in 2016, we have welcomed couples from all walks of life to celebrate their love here with us at Brynich. As a venue we know that no two couples are the same, and so why should their weddings be? At Brynich we aim to offer you a relaxed and enjoyable wedding that is tailored to your needs. Our friendly, unpretentious approach means you can arrange your weekend the way you want. Our wedding co-ordinators are on hand to support you with the planning process and the running of the wedding day, we'll help you navigate any challenges you face on the way.

Allyship

We are aware of using gender neutral terms, such as using "friends and family" when addressing the room, & including referring to our accommodation spaces as "glamour suite" as opposed to bridal suites etc. We activley look to work with LGBTQ+ friendly suppliers who make the whole wedding experience at Brynich a safe experience. We use inclusive imagery of real couples on our website and social media to show we welcome and celebrate all love. We continually try to improve our knowledge and understanding of LGBTQ+ allyship and welcome an open conversation.

We were aware we didn't have many photos on our website and social media due to the couples getting married here not giving consent to be shared publicly, so we arranged our own Celebration of Love 'styled shoot' with a real life gay couple celebrating their 13-year anniversary. The theme was colourful & fun. They had made a decision not to get formally married, but loved the idea of having beautiful photos together in a beautiful venue to share with their friends & family. A memorable occasion with the support of LGBTQ+ inclusive photographer Carmel McCabe. We have also offered our venue as a free space for an Inclusivity workshop to be held.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
