What do you offer?

I am an Edinburgh-based makeup artist specialising in alternative, modern and inclusive wedding and occasion makeup for people who want something a little different. My work blends creative expression with thoughtful technique, offering personalised, confidence-boosting looks that feel authentic, comfortable and true to each client.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Inclusivity is so important to me. My way into makeup was through being a drag performer, where I met (and partied with) people of all genders and sexualities. Representation matters, and I want to make sure my clients feel seen and supported in everything I do.

Allyship

I go out of my way to use the correct pronouns for everyone I meet - I even put it in my booking form on my website

• I use gender inclusive language on my website and social media platforms

• I have previously done work with LGBT Youth Scotland hosting masterclasses in skincare and makeup for young people who are transitioning, and through that I have learnt about different skincare ingredients that react with hormones

• I have implemented skincare and makeup products in my kit that don’t react with hormone treatments

• I use gender inclusive language on my website and social media platforms

• I keep myself informed on any issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community so that I can best support my clients

• I create a safe and judgement free zone in all appointments ensuring each one is custom to the clients needs, wants, and skin type no matter who they are
