I am a candid, documentary photographer - you create the memories, I'll capture them. Fun, relaxed and ND aware.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I am passionate about capturing memories, not just images, in a candid and genuine manner. My brand is around authenticity; so if you are authentic to who you are, then I want to work with you to create photos that not only highlight your love for one another, but also your personalities.

Allyship

My whole photography business was created to provide an inclusive space for all my clients. I want to ensure that everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued during our time together so they can be their authentic self! Who doesn’t want to be themselves on their wedding day? 

So I’m committed to being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community by first and foremost recognising that I don’t always get it right! But, I believe in the importance of research, listening, and continuous learning to enhance my awareness and support particularly learning from those with lived experience. 

I won’t stand for individuals being mistreated, discriminated and I actively encourage inclusivity and awareness within my role as a Family Support worker, advocating for autonomy, understanding and respect in self expression and self identity. 

My processes are gender neutral, and I respect my clients pronouns. I just want all my clients to feel safe, comfortable in themselves because this the baseline, from this we will create epic photos together and have fun too! 

I am actively trying to be involved in a styled shoot that represents the LGBTQ+ and ND community. I ensure my blogs are LTBTQ+ friendly using gender neutral terms through out. I do have some representation in my portfolio but I am hoping to increase this. I use photos from my LGBTQ+ weddings on my wedding stand to show that I am inclusive and to hopefully encourage more diverse bookings.
