Hey I’m Leesha, I’m a queer, Black-owned wedding photographer and videographer capturing non-traditional love stories with bold, authentic visuals and true-to-life skin tones because your love deserves to be seen exactly as it is. 👌🏽

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a queer, Black business owner, I really understand how meaningful it is to find wedding suppliers who truly see and celebrate you. That’s why working with LGBTQ+ couples means so much to me, it’s about creating a space where your love isn’t just accepted but uplifted and captured with pride. I think everyone’s story deserves to be told authentically and beautifully, and I’m honestly so honoured whenever I get to be part of that journey.

Allyship

I make sure to attend protests, I've done lots of work with LGBTQ+ kids (I used to run art therapy workshops!) and a portion of my bookings goes towards charities like black pride!

From the language I use in my marketing to showcasing diversity across my platforms, I’m intentional about reflecting all identities. I also avoid gendered language in my client guides, check pronouns on enquiries, use inclusive questionnaires, and proudly highlight LGBTQ+ couples in my portfolio.
