What do you offer?

Rave the Date weddings are all about fun, individuality and celebrating through the music YOU love with the people who mean the most to you. I give my all to plan and DJ fully personalised playlists for unique and eclectic entertainment, capturing every part of your musical identities along the way.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Music is my personal passion, and I want to share my fun and eclectic playlists with the LGBTQ+ community because every person deserves to dance to the best music at their wedding. My ethos is all about playing non-cliché music and expressing my newly wedded couples' personalities during the best part of the day (dancing the night away)! My aim is to support couples to feel listened to during the planning process, champion their ideas and keep everyone on the dancefloor for as long as possible!

Allyship

I celebrate and champion LGBTQ+ artists in music through my party playlists and online radio shows. I love learning all about the diverse and eclectic tastes of my couples and actively avoid making assumptions about the music they want based on their appearance or identity, as I recognise that stereotypes exist when it comes to music associated with LGBTQ+ organised events. I actively engage with content and accounts online which challenge gender stereotyping in the wedding industry. My booking process is all about listening and learning about my nearly-wed couples, as I want to get to know them and reflect the full spectrum of their musical identities in the party playlists I put together.

I am relatively new to the industry, and my real-wedding content is growing organically, but as my business develops, I want my portfolio to represent the LGBTQ+ couples I work with as much as possible while avoiding being tokenistic. I am constantly building new content that shows the weddings I have played so far, which I hope will demonstrate to Rebel Love couples that I am a humble ally wanting to be genuinely representative. I strive to use inclusive language in my communications and look to influential people/organisations in the LGBTQ+ community for examples of how to conduct myself and my business in the most inclusive way possible. Alongside this, I am waiting for the next Love For All workshop so I can continue to learn and build inclusivity and representation into my business as much as possible.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
