What do you offer?

At Stardust Ceremonies, I specialise in making your special occasions unforgettable. Whether it's a wedding, renewal of vows, naming, or a thematic celebration, I bring your vision to life with bespoke ceremonies tailored just for you.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

My name is Cat Beharrell, and I am an independent celebrant, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and a trans ally. I have trained in conducting couples and naming ceremonies. These are pretty vague titles and don't really explain the vast ceremonies that fall into these categories. I also like to think outside of the box (I don't really fit in one so it's rather apt!), so what I offer is entirely tailored to suit you - wedding celebration, commitment ceremony, renewal of vows, civil partnership celebration, family blending, baby welcoming, adoption/fostering welcoming, child introduction, change of name, transition celebration, divorce celebration. If you dream of celebrating it, I want to be there with you! My aim is to bring joy to every occasion that brings you joy. With a celebrant-led ceremony, there really are no limits beyond your imagination. As celebrant-led ceremonies are not legally binding, the words and actions are your choice, and there are no restrictions on location or time.

Allyship

My website is very clear in my vibe being people's authenticity, validation and celebration. I am preparing blog posts on trans and nonbinary validation ceremonies, and have contacted various charities to work with on this. My FAQS ask if I offer opposite sex ceremonies, as I've read so much about offering same sex ceremonies. It was clear that I work with LGBTQ+ couples, but unclear that I also offer services for heterosexual couples.

I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have my pronouns in my email signature and on my website and invite people to share theirs with me so I can address them correctly and will call people out when speaking disrespectfully. After completing a trans awareness course, I have begun working with a trans youth charity and have applied for stalls at local Pride events to offer ceremonies promoting romantic love, self-love, and family love.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
