I believe every couple deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and celebrated throughout their wedding journey. As a bespoke cake designer, I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive affirming experience where every couple can share their ideas freely, knowing they will be treated with warmth, professionalism and enthusiasm. Joining this directory reflects these values. I want LGBTQ+ couples to be able to find suppliers with confidence knowing they are working with someone who celebrates individuality, listens without judgment and is dedicated to bringing their vision to life.

Allyship

For me being an ally is reflected in everyday actions rather than statements alone. I use inclusive language through my business, respect and use client’s chosen names and pronouns, and never make assumptions about relationships or identities. Every consultation is centred on the couple and the celebration they want to create.

Beyond my business I foster an environment of respect, acceptance and inclusion in my everyday life supporting LGBTQ+ friends and family continuously educating myself and ensuring my business is a welcoming space where every couple feels seen, valued and celebrated. I feature LGBTQ+ couples in my portfolio, website and social media, have designed cakes specifically that celebrate LGBTQ+ relationships, and use pronouns in my email signature.

I use inclusive language throughout my website and communications. I respect names and pronouns. Treat all couples as individuals. I make it clear in my marketing that all couples are welcome. I provide a judgement free safe space during my consultations. I celebration diverse relationships by focusing on the couples unique story. I continually educate myself.
