What do you offer?

As a queer celebrant, I would love to work with other members of the LGBTQ+ community on creating a magical and memorable day for them. I believe in co-creating the ceremony in a collaborative way and always give my clients final sign-off on the script.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I love to work with other members of the LGBTQ+ community on creating a magical and memorable day for them.

Allyship

I always ask what pronouns people use before assuming and then use them. I organised for my last organisation (a charity) to take part in London Pride, and they are still marching in it even though I have left the organisation. I have participated in a number of queer arts events to better promote the queer community to wider audiences, e.g. House of Sublime at Wilderness festival, Diverse City production for Brighton Dome and an upcoming ballet about Section 28. My ceremonies are always fully inclusive in terms of the language I use and how I interact with guests.

I have been in business as a celebrant for a year now, and as a queer celebrant myself I am very keen to work with a queer couple on their wedding and, ideally, agree with them to use some of the wedding photos on my website as I am very aware that I am not representing our community on my website at the moment. However, I only wish to use photos that are a true representation of my work, and so have avoided using stock footage.
