What do you offer?

I'm an alternative celebrant who loves helping couples create wedding ceremonies that are creative, personal and unique. Instead of relying on tradition and expectations, I'm all about crafting celebrations that have your personality and values at the centre.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a queer person myself, I understand the desire to have a celebrant for your wedding day who is also part of the LGBTQ+ community and brings this lived experience and connection to the ceremony. Love can and should be celebrated in a wide variety of ways, and as a celebrant I want to be a part of helping people create ceremonies that are personal, authentic and unique to them as a couple.

Allyship

As a queer person, I make an effort to be an ally to my community every day by keeping my language respectful and inclusive, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights at my work and in my personal life, attending Pride and other relevant protests throughout the year, and prioritising supporting queer-owned businesses.

I have done my best to use inclusive imagery on my website based on the stock images available, and plan to update this with even more representative imagery when I have the resources. I have listed my pronouns on my website and talked about my desire to work with queer and non-traditional couples. I plan to focus on how my celebrant services can support LGBTQ+ couples in my business strategy and across my marketing material. I would also love to run workshops for queer couples/throuples etc on how they can create an alternative wedding.
