What do you offer?
My favourite ceremonies are the ones that make you laugh and cry in equal measure, so those are the ones I write. They’re energising, full of warmth and laughter, but will also get you right in the feels. Hilarious and fun, heartwarming and intimate. My style is informal and inclusive. I’m here to make sure that you and all of your guests feel amazing and have the time of your bloody lives!
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
I'm a proud queer woman, and committed to creating inclusive, energising experiences for other members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The world is a bit of a scary place right now, so celebrating queer love and creating more queer joy feels more important than ever. My way of doing that is by crafting beautiful, unique, hilarious wedding ceremonies that'll make couples feel safe, seen and more loved than ever.
Allyship
I’m really passionate about using my voice and privileges to support our lovely LGBTQ+ community. Whether it’s fundraising, volunteering, or supporting queer owned events and venues, I’m committed to showing up. I’m also committed to being a lifelong learner, expanding my understanding of the queer experience - the glorious parts, the tough parts and the messy parts - through books, queer influencers, magazines and all that good stuff. There are so many things I don’t yet know or understand, but I see it as a total joy and a privilege to learn and fill in those gaps over time.
On all of my personal and professional platforms I’m explicit about the fact I'm queer, a feminist and a trans ally - I don’t want there to be any guess work or reading between the lines for people to know where I stand. My values are loud and clear through the content I create and share so that other members of the community know they’re safe with me.
When working with me, the focus is making sure that your ceremony feels like a true reflection of your identities and your personalities, making you feel truly seen. I’ll never make any assumptions about what you want your ceremony to look like - no assumed patriarchal or heteronormative ‘traditions’ here - so we’ll start from a blank slate, leaving ENDLESS room for all of that delicious queer joy. Pure magic.
