Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I am part of this community and surprisingly don't get booked a lot for LGBTQ+ events. I have DJ'd a party once where it felt like the entire room was homophobic. It was a terrible experience and one of the worst gigs of my life! It means a lot to me when I can provide top-tier entertainment to my LGBTQ+ siblings ❤️

When I play an LGBTQ+ event, I truly feel myself and let go of all my inhibitions. I am at my most confident and perform at my peak ability when doing LGBTQ+ events!

Allyship

I don't have any kind of gendered tick-box or gendered (bride/groom) name check on my website for incoming inquiries, or on my website. I always make sure to use correct pronouns for people, and donate to every friend who crowdfunds their gender-affirming surgery. I was also a volunteer for a gay dating app in 2017- 2018.

In my professional show reel, I hired the videographer to come to a lesbian, mixed-race wedding. Being a white person, I didn't want any minorities to feel unsure about where I stood. I wanted them to know that I'm here for everyone.
