Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I want every couple to feel celebrated and supported in creating the wedding of their dreams, regardless of gender or sexuality. As a bisexual woman, I know how important representation and inclusivity are, and I want to ensure my couples never feel “different” when planning their day.

Especially in the current climate, with so many challenges facing the trans community, it feels more important than ever to be actively inclusive and stand proudly with LGBTQ+ couples. Above all, I’m passionate about making weddings unforgettable through music that’s personal and meaningful, because love deserves to be celebrated in every form.

Allyship

Being an ally is more than just a label to me. I always respect and use correct pronouns, and I’m committed to learning how to better support communities outside my own by making people feel comfortable and included. I attend Pride events and promote LGBTQ+ causes on social media, but what I’m proudest of is the impact I’ve had on those around me. I’ve educated my family to be more open and accepting of things they didn’t understand, and it means so much to know those small changes can have a lasting impact.

Inclusivity is not just central to my business, but to me as a person. I always use gender-neutral language (referring to ‘couples’ instead of ‘brides and grooms’) in my marketing and conversations, to ensure everyone feels welcome. I actively promote LGBTQ+ causes on social media and plan to feature diverse representation in my content as I grow my portfolio. I also take requests to make sure couples can hear the music that represents their love story, not just a traditional template. As my business expands, I’m committed to showcasing LGBTQ+ couples in my visuals and celebrating their weddings with the same pride and joy as any other, making sure everyone sees themselves reflected in my work.
