What do you offer?
I design florals, but florals that ring true to you! I believe that flowers can do something far deeper for my clients: honour heritage, mark memories, rebel against beige tradition. Every stem is chosen for meaning as well as beauty.
I also work as sustainably as possible, reusing materials and avoiding floral foam wherever I can. Artful doesn’t have to mean wasteful.
What I value
Inclusivity – Everyone is welcome.
Diversity – Celebrating all stories and styles.
Environmental thinking – Sustainable, mindful practices.
Transparency – Honest communication and process.
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
I feel very strongly about the inequality I see, not only in the wedding industry, but in society. I believe we all have a duty to make this world a safer & better place for absolutely everyone.
Allyship
I consider myself an ally not only in the wedding industry, but I also work in the music industry, supporting a few LGBTQ+ collectives. Not only do I play for these collectives, I do so for free, to raise awareness when I’m needed to. I have done this for many years now. I support my lgbtq+ peers by booking them on gigs and backing their media accounts. We have private support groups, too. We have a very young music collective here in Kent that have approached me to play for them, and I have also advised them in how to go about financial backing to build their collective. I will continue to support as needed.
As a floral designer, you will see by my social media and website that equality is at the top of my priorities.
I have a diverse portfolio. I have LGBTQ+ wedding quotes in for next year. My allyship will continue as always. Lastly, as a mother of a grown child that is part of the lgbtq+ community, I will always support and speak up in any room.. full or empty!
don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
