What do you offer?

I'm a chilled, laid-back photographer who captures colourful images and guarantees a good laugh, ensuring your wedding day feels relaxed and joy-filled. You should work with me for vibrant, authentic photos and an experience that's genuinely fun and stress-free.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand firsthand how important it is for couples to feel truly seen and understood by their wedding photographer. I aim to create a space where every couple feels comfortable, celebrated, and free to express themselves authentically. I'm dedicated to providing a service where you feel completely at ease and confident that the couple's vision will be brought to life with sensitivity and skill.

Allyship

Being part of the LGBTQ+ community is certainly a significant part of my identity, but I wholeheartedly agree that allyship is about active implementation and ongoing effort. For me, it's about consistently putting principles into practice, both in my business and personal life. I believe actions speak louder than words, and living my everyday life as my true self is an act of activism. I regularly engage with LGBTQ+ literature, films, TV shows, and artists. In everyday conversations and interactions, I make a conscious effort to challenge cisnormative and heteronormative assumptions. This might involve gently correcting misconceptions, sharing accurate information, or simply using inclusive language in casual settings to normalise diversity.

I treat everyone equally, and I understand the struggles not only within my community but also those faced by others. I actively ensure my website and social media showcase a diverse range of LGBTQ+ couples. During consultations and on wedding days, I prioritise creating a safe and affirming space. This includes actively listening to clients' visions, understanding their unique dynamics, and ensuring they feel completely comfortable and celebrated throughout the entire process. I'm always mindful of using correct pronouns and respectful terminology. My goal is not just to be a photographer, but a genuine advocate and a safe space for all LGBTQ+ couples as they celebrate their love.
