What do you offer?

I'm a wedding photographer that captures vibrant, joyful, authentic moments that celebrate the fun and chaos of a wedding day.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I think it's important for couples to have a safe space where they can find suppliers who are inclusive and encouraging of people who want to celebrate and share their love for each other.

Allyship

Something I decided upon a long time ago and have continuously made sure of, is that I use inclusive language online and in person at all times, no matter who I'm speaking to. I don't think there's any need to use the terms 'bride' or 'groom' in a general sense. I include my pronouns on my website/socials and leave space for people to put their pronouns in on my booking form. I follow several social accounts that help me gain a better understanding of the issues the community faces, and I'm not afraid to share my views. I know there's always more that can be done, and I'm always willing to learn.

I'm showcasing the LGBTQ+ weddings I've photographed throughout my portfolio and socials consistently, as I want people looking at my work to feel they are represented and have the confidence to know that I am inclusive. I have more LGBTQ+ weddings this year as a result and will continue to show and share always. This year I'm also collaborating with a wedding planner to do a styled shoot showcasing ways to make your wedding more accessibility friendly by looking at the venue itself and also things like braille menus!
