What do you offer?

I specialise in relaxed, modern wedding photography with a documentary feel and true-to-life, colourful photos. No awkward posing – just natural moments, plenty of laughs, and space for you to be yourselves.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I want to work with LGBTQ+ couples because I’m part of the community myself, and I know how important it is to feel genuinely seen and understood – especially on a day that means as much as your wedding. Working with queer couples isn’t something I’ve added on to my business; it’s something that’s woven into who I am and how I work. Because of that, I’m really conscious about creating a space that feels relaxed, affirming, and free from assumptions. There’s no default roles, no gendered expectations, and no need to explain yourselves or correct anyone. I approach every wedding with care and intention, focusing on connection, personality, and the real moments that make your relationship yours. My aim is for you to feel comfortable being fully yourselves, knowing your story is being documented honestly and respectfully, exactly as it is.

Allyship

I’ve built my business to be a welcoming and approachable space where couples can truly be themselves – something I would have loved and needed when I was younger. From the very first enquiry, I ask for preferred pronouns and ensure my business language is fully inclusive, reflecting every relationship without assumption. I photograph LGBTQIA+ and inclusive weddings because I want every couple to feel represented, celebrated, and completely at ease on their day. As a queer photographer, I speak up for what’s right and openly share my experience to help educate others when needed. I’m committed to creating a safe space for couples.

I’ve always made sure my business feels genuinely inclusive, with language and imagery that reflects all couples so people know straight away that I’m an inclusive supplier who celebrates everyone. My portfolio and socials already showcase weddings of couples from all walks of life, and I regularly share content that helps normalise and celebrate diversity rather than assume anything. That’s how I represent LGBTQIA+ people in my work every day. Filling out this form has actually encouraged me to think about taking even more steps in the near future, and I’m planning to look into doing a yearly donation to a UK LGBTQIA+ charity that supports young people and community wellbeing – something like LGBT Youth Scotland, akt, Mermaids, or The Proud Trust. These kinds of causes feel really meaningful to support alongside the work I already do in making my business a welcoming, safe space where everyone can be themselves.
