The Still Folk
What do you offer?
The photographs we create together are there to remind you of beautiful moments when you feel nostalgic for past seasons of life, when you feel like they are gone forever or they were never real.
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
As a queer woman growing up in the 2000s, in Eastern Europe, I felt unseen. I believe helping others to feel seen and heard whilst connecting through my work is transformative. I believe that Queer Joy Is Resistance.
Allyship
I have successfully managed to grow my portfolio to include different ages and bodies. I am still working on having more People of colour represented in my work, as well as visibly disabled people. I also have recently realised my website not being the best for visually impaired people and working on improving that.
I've done charity fundraisers for Trans people (and planning to do more in the future!) - asking trans ppl what they think I should donate the money towards, asking pronouns when doing consultation calls, correcting pronouns when others are using wrong ones, advocating for trans and non-binary ppl whilst being a university officer and while creating projects highlighting the struggles they have.
don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
