What do you offer?

V & L Studios creates bespoke hand-drawn wedding illustrations and luxury stationery suites, from save the dates and invitations to signage and keepsakes. Every design is custom illustrated and professionally printed in-house, creating timeless pieces that feel personal, artistic and completely unique to each couple.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, creating inclusive and welcoming experiences within the wedding industry is deeply important to me. I know how meaningful it is for couples to feel genuinely seen, celebrated and comfortable being themselves throughout the planning process. Through my work, I want to create bespoke illustrations and stationery that reflect each couple authentically, without assumptions or templates, focusing instead on personal stories, individuality and thoughtful design.

Allyship

Inclusivity is something I approach intentionally both personally and professionally. Within my business, I use gender-neutral language throughout my communication and design process, avoid assumptions around relationships or traditional wedding roles, and focus on creating a space where couples feel comfortable expressing who they are and what they want their wedding to look like. As both a member of and ally within the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the importance of visibility, respect and representation, and I aim to make every couple feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated through the experience I provide.

I actively try to create a business that feels welcoming, safe and inclusive from the very first interaction. Within my branding, communication and stationery process, I use gender-neutral language and avoid assumptions around relationships, identities or traditional wedding roles. I focus on creating designs that feel personal to the couple themselves, rather than fitting weddings into a “traditional” template. As my business is still growing, I’m very aware of the importance of improving representation within my portfolio and social media. I’m actively working towards collaborating with more diverse couples, LGBTQ+ suppliers and inclusive wedding spaces through networking, wedding fairs and directory applications such as this one.

Representation is something I want to continue building intentionally as my portfolio expands. I also believe allyship is about creating an experience where people feel genuinely comfortable and understood.

As someone within the LGBTQ+ community myself, I understand how important it is to work with suppliers where you don’t feel the need to explain or minimise who you are. I want every couple to feel fully celebrated and able to bring their personalities and relationship into the creative process without expectations or assumptions. Going forward, I plan to continue improving representation within my work, collaborating with inclusive suppliers and ensuring my business continues evolving as a genuinely welcoming space for all couples.
