What do you offer?

We're not just your average gorgeous barn venue (although we're pretty stunning!) - we're your creative wedding playground, powered by good feels, fuelled by creativity, and run by Scott (he/ him) & Penny (she/ her) - your personal party-planning pals!

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

We have created a beautiful venue that is a safe and empowering space for everyone, and we want to shout about it! We do weddings because we really love people, and nothing makes us happier than seeing people able to be 100% their authentic selves on their wedding day. Weddings are about love between people, and we provide a space where that can shine bright.

Allyship

From the get-go go we have been mindful to create an inclusive space at our venue, for example, non-gender toilets were never a question, they were a given, and we were careful to not include any gendered language on our website or socials. We also include LGBTQ+ real weddings across our socials and website, but not (I hope) in a tokenistic way.  We recognise that we don't know what we don't know, and as a cis-het, white couple, we recognise that there is always learning to be had, and we are really keen to do so that we can be even better at empowering and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.   Penny recently attended your workshop (which was really great btw!) and we are constantly trying to improve our content/ website/ venue to be inclusive. The workshop also made me think of other things that we can do to better support the community by attending protests/ pride events and speaking up more on our socials.
