What do you offer?
I create documentary-style wedding films that capture real, unscripted moments, driven by human connection, not tradition. For queer couples who want to feel fully themselves, I offer a safe, understanding space to tell your love story exactly as it is.
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
As a queer videographer and proud lesbian woman, the LGBTQ+ community is my community. It’s vibrant, diverse, and full of real, honest humanity that often isn’t fully represented in the wedding industry. I want to give back by creating space for queer couples to feel seen, safe, and celebrated. When people feel free to express who they are, that’s when the most powerful, authentic moments happen, and that’s exactly what I want to capture.
Allyship
I live authentically every day as a proud queer woman and actively support others doing the same, whether that’s speaking up against discrimination, challenging harmful narratives, or amplifying queer voices both online and in everyday life. I’m intentional about creating inclusive spaces, from using correct pronouns, to making sure no one feels left out or uncomfortable in a room.
If I notice someone on the outside, such as when attending queer events often hosted in Manchester, I’ll always make the effort to bring them in and help them feel seen and included. Within my work, I also love to collaborate with queer creatives and take on meaningful projects that centre LGBTQ+ stories, including independent films and documentaries that highlight real experiences within the community.
I’m very aware that the work I currently have visible doesn’t yet fully reflect the level of diversity and representation I’m striving for which is exactly why I’m intentionally pushing my business in this direction and why joining this directory is so important to me. I have filmed two queer weddings so far, with this work mainly visible on my TikTok, and I’m actively working to build more of this into my portfolio so it truly reflects the community I want to serve.
Alongside weddings, I also take on meaningful projects that centre LGBTQ+ stories, including a documentary highlighting Birmingham’s LGBTQ+ football team, Blaze, focused on a sense of belonging and the experiences of those who have found a home there.
Within my marketing for weddings, I am actively aiming to move away from traditional, heteronormative narratives, focusing instead on real connection, individuality, and honest storytelling. Alongside this, I work at UA92 in Manchester, an organisation built around making education more accessible and inclusive for people from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. Being part of that environment means representation and inclusion are always at the forefront of my mind, and that directly feeds into how I run my business and show up for my clients. Everything I'm trying to build is a step towards more visible representation.
don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
