What do you offer?
Carabiner Studios offers personal wedding videography services. With four years of experience in videography and film & TV, Carabiner Studios is the culmination of everything I’ve learned so far. I bring a multimedia approach blending digital, film and handycam formats to create wedding films that feel both cinematic and nostalgic, like a dreamy home video. Throughout the entire process, you can expect me to be your supportive friend, capturing your meaningful moments with intention. I’m deeply passionate about this work, and I can’t wait to create an incredible film with you.
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
My goal is to break through the heteronormativity of the wedding industry and create a space where queer love is at the centre and is entirely celebrated. As a queer woman who had to search to see myself reflected, I'm building the kind of service and community I wish to receive for my own wedding one day and the representation of queer love I wish I had growing up.
Allyship
My goal with Carabiner Studios is to be an open and proudly queer-forward videography studio where you will always feel:
- Represented
- Celebrated
- Comfortable
- Affirmed
Here’s how I aim to create that experience:
- Inclusive wedding forms that ask for your pronouns
- No outdated or heteronormative language
- A focus on authentic representation, not just in weddings but in my commercial work too
- A completely open space, with no assumptions or preconceptions about what your day “should” look like
And if there’s anything I can do to make the process more inclusive or comfortable for you, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m always open to learning, listening, and growing.
I’ve been an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community long before coming out myself, nearly ten years ago. Over the years, I’ve attended many protests, including the incredibly moving Trans Pride marches which have shaped my understanding of what true solidarity looks like. I’m incredibly passionate about creating the kind of representation I longed for as a closeted teen. That’s why Carabiner Studios is built to be a queer-centred business, one where LGBTQIA+ people are not just included, but prioritised and celebrated. It’s my goal to keep learning, growing, and connecting. I recently attended the Love For All inclusivity workshop, which was an incredible day of learning, sharing, and community. I can’t wait to continue growing alongside the wider LGBTQIA+ wedding community and creating spaces where all love is seen, valued, and beautifully documented.
don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
