What do you offer?

Ahh Toots is a Queer owned and ran bakery, producing art focused bespoke wedding cakes.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

At Ahh Toots we believe in the power of love and the celebration of unique connections. Every couple, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation, deserves to have their love story celebrated in the most beautiful and authentic way possible. Our passion for baking and creating art-focused bespoke wedding cakes aligns perfectly with this belief.

Working with the LGBTQ+ community allows us to be a part of diverse love stories and to contribute to the joyous moments that mark significant milestones in their lives. It's not just about creating a cake; it's about understanding and honoring the individuality of each couple, their journey, and their vision for their special day.

Furthermore, as a queer-owned and operated bakery, we deeply resonate with the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community. By collaborating with the community, we hope to foster a sense of belonging, acceptance, and celebration within the broader community. Together, we can create not just cakes, but memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

At Ahh Toots, we wear our allyship proudly, not just in words but in actions. Here's how we're stepping up:

  1. Inclusivity in Every Slice: Our designs aren't just about aesthetics; they're about celebrating love in all its forms. We make sure our cakes reflect the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.

  2. Safe Spaces: Beyond baking, we strive to create a welcoming environment for all. Our bakery is a space where everyone, regardless of their identity, feels seen, heard, and valued.

  3. Continuous Learning: We're committed to staying informed and educated about LGBTQ+ issues. This means ongoing training for our team, staying updated on best practices, and being open to feedback from the community.

  4. Community Collaboration: We actively seek partnerships and collaborations within the LGBTQ+ community. By working together, we can amplify voices, share stories, and foster a stronger sense of unity.

  5. Support Beyond the Bakery: We understand that allyship extends beyond our storefront. That's why we support LGBTQ+ events, fundraisers, and initiatives, both locally and nationally.
