Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I am dedicated to celebrating love in all it's amazing forms. I believe everyone has a right to feel loved, empowered and respected. As a celebrant I create a safe space to allow my couples to share their truth and ensure their day truly celebrates their love and allows them to be their authentic selves.

Allyship

I have spent my life standing up against discrimination. One of my main values is kindness. Growing up in the world of performing arts I've always been surrounded by diversity. I ask a persons preferred pronouns, I make my classroom (I'm currently till Head of Creative Arts at a secondary school) a safe space.

In my business I use non gendered language, I always refer to 'couples' and my website includes a range of couples pictured. At wedding fayres I display pride ribbons. I post on socials using inclusive language and celebrate Pride events.
