What do you offer?

I offer a repertoire of beautiful baroque and classical music, and the basic price also includes up to 5 special requests so that you can choose your favourite songs that I will arrange just for you!

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a member of the community I feel genuinely privileged when I get to be part of any queer wedding. Every single one is so special and meaningful. This is a difficult time for queer people, and so it is particularly important that we support and uplift each other. Bringing some music into the world is a really special way for me to do this.

Allyship

I strive to always be open-minded and to learn more about other queer people and their experiences so that I can always do better at uplifting each other. When I meet new people I always introduce myself with pronouns as well as names to make sure we all address each other in an affirming way and without assigning heteronormative meaning to our appearances.

I care really deeply about LGBTQ+ issues and the scary restrictions that are unfortunately being placed on our rights across the world at the moment. I think it is so important that queer people can be a safe place for each other when we might need to talk or just be in a supportive place. I also take part in as many protests as I can. I am so lucky to be a member of my local drag community which organises lots of T4T performances and other fundraising events. These are a really great example of how to be a strong trans ally!

Finally, in my everyday life I try to educate others in a kind and non-judgemental way about how they can be stronger and more active allies.

In my business I purposely wrote my business instagram bio to show that I am proudly inclusive of queer, specifically trans, and disabled people. I myself am trans and disabled so I feel these are specific areas of inclusivity I have been able to learn the most about through a combination of lived experience and learning from the intersectional queer/trans/disabled communities.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
