What do you offer?

Not quite minimalist, and definitely not your traditional watercolour designs, at Stone Barton Studio I’m redefining what contemporary wedding stationery looks like. If you’ve been searching for modern wedding stationery that aligns with your love for dark captivating tones, striking details, and romance, then you’re in the right place.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a Queer woman myself, I know the typical tropes and stereotypes that LGBTQ+ couples are subjected to in the mainstream wedding industry. You're never going to have me assume that you're room mates or best friends. You won't have to explain that no, it's not a double wedding. You'll never have to ask for me to use gender neutral language (that's a given). You'll never have to justify your choices or explain why you've planned the wedding you have. I'm here to make your wedding stationery dreams come to life in a work of art, the way you want it to, with someone who gets that you'll make the traditions as much yours as you want to - or not at all!

Allyship

Beyond efforts in my own business to provide a gender and LGBTQ+ inclusive service to my couples, I champion the inclusion of other LGBTQ+ suppliers and models for styles shoots to increase representation in mainstream wedding media.

I raise money for charities across the year, and one of my current charities is MindOut which is a mental health charity for young LGBTQ+ people. In my other job, I work in mental health research, and am leading the first ever Pride in London committee for our department, as well as leading on strategy to improve gender inclusive research through programs such as the Message Project (it's really cool).

Within my business, my website, socials, newsletters, emails & blogs all use gender neutral and inclusive language. I make an effort to ensure that shoots I'm involved in have not only diverse models, but also a diverse team of suppliers. I am also open about my own experiences of being Queer, how that changed my own feelings & experience of getting married, and how people can be better allies to their LGBTQ+ loved ones.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
